With grant support from Safeway, Inc., (operators of Vons and Pavilions in Southern California), Easter Seals will expand current employment services in our Brea office to include customized employment and microenterprise development. We are also producing an employer training video and other tools that will be used to train Vons and Pavilions store managers on how to better work with their employees with disabilities.

“Vons is a proud employer of many associates with disabilities,” says Daymond Rice, Vons director of public affairs and government relations. “The Safeway Empowerment Grant Fund was created to support and empower agencies and individuals to thrive through greater independence.”
